Exercise bike - Interactive Installation.
This project was done in the summer of 2004 as part of my end of year Fda Degree Show.
The user pedals on an exercise bike and watches a video playing of rolling country lanes. The video plays faster as the user pedals faster until the user reaches a speed that activates a 'hyper speed' video clip made using Adobe After Effects giving the user an experience of reaching extreme speed. This installation was built using sensors attached to the front wheel of the bike - to monitor the user's pedal rate, and Macromedia Director.
